    Domestic mail typically arrives within 5–7 business days after mailing. International mail typically arrives within 7–21 business days. Tracking is not provided.

Ordering & Membership

When will my first piece be mailed?

Orders placed by the 10th ship on the 12th of that month. Orders placed after the 10th ship on the 12th of the following month.

Is this a recurring subscription? Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellations apply to future renewals only. Charges already processed are final.

Can I purchase a single month without subscribing?

Unfortunately, not at the moment. Individual months are not available. All orders are part of a recurring subscription.

Do you offer gift subscriptions?

Yes! Gift subscriptions begin with the next scheduled mailing date. The recipient’s address can be updated at any time through the customer account before the monthly cutoff. Address changes made after the cutoff will apply to the following month.

Shipping & Delivery

When do orders ship?

Orders ship once per month on the 12th.

Do you provide tracking numbers?

No. All mail is sent via standard, untracked postal service. This is intentional and part of the analog, old-fashioned nature of the project. Unfortunately, providing tracking numbers would raise the cost of the subscription and the goal is to keep it as affordable as possible!

How long does delivery take?

Domestic orders typically arrive within 5–7 business days after mailing.

International orders typically arrive within 7–21 business days after mailing.

What if my mail hasn’t arrived yet?

Please allow the full delivery window to pass before reaching out. Postal delays are common, especially for international shipments.

What if my mail is lost or damaged?

If your mail is lost or arrives damaged, please reach out at info@slowcorrespondence.com with photos of the issue.

How do I update my mailing address?

You can update your mailing address in your customer account portal. Address changes must be submitted before the monthly cutoff on the 10th to apply to that month’s mailing. Changes made after the 10th will apply to the following month.

Billing & Payments

When am I charged?

You are charged at checkout when you sign up, and then automatically on the same date each billing cycle.

What if a charge fails?

If a payment fails, Shopify will automatically retry the charge. If payment cannot be completed after multiple attempts, your subscription may be paused or canceled until payment is updated.

Can I cancel after I’ve been charged?

You may cancel your subscription at any time, but the current billing cycle will still be fulfilled. Charges that have already processed cannot be refunded.

What if I forgot to cancel before my renewal?

If you miss the cancellation window and your subscription renews, that month’s order will still be fulfilled. Renewals are final once processed.
